About the project
Editorial web portfolio designed for Sichi Weon, a Chinese-American photographer based in New York City. The site recreates the atmosphere of her photography: lonely streets, cultural tension, and human stillness translated into pixels. Inspired by The New York Times visual language, it combines authoritative serif typography, generous whitespace, and a strictly monochromatic palette. Every transition, every animation, and every typographic choice is deliberate. The result is a site that feels like walking into a perfectly lit gallery.
